I was INSPIRED by rye itself — its journey, transformation, and symbolism.
The OBJECT consists of eight suspended "grains". Approximately 1.2 m long. Each grain, hand-shaped, has the color of a fresh ear of corn on the outside, and shines with the gold of maturity on the inside.
Suspended on golden cables, they float silently through space.
The grain falls into the mill, but instead of noise and movement, it brings light. Silent, soft, warm.
The light that comes out of them is not dazzling – it just quietly "populates" the space. It brings peace, warmth and presence to it.
